Born from the Frustration of Every Automation Engineer

AILogicHMI was founded in 2023 by a team of passionate automation engineers and AI researchers who identified a critical gap in the PLC programming industry. Despite rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, the field of industrial automation remained largely untouched by these innovations.

Our founders, having spent years programming PLCs using traditional methods, recognised the immense potential for AI to streamline the process, reduce errors, and make industrial automation more accessible to a wider range of professionals.

After two years of intensive research and development, we launched our beta in early 2025 — allowing engineers worldwide to convert natural language instructions into professional-grade ladder logic. The response was overwhelming, with users reporting significant time savings and improved code quality from day one.

2023

Company Founded

A team of automation engineers and AI researchers came together with a shared vision: make PLC programming smarter. Early R&D begins on the natural language to ladder logic engine.

Q2 '24

AI Engine v1 Complete

First internal prototype demonstrated converting plain English to IEC 61131-3 compliant ladder logic with 85%+ accuracy. PID Simulator tool launched as a standalone free resource.

Q4 '24

HMI Designer Added

The drag-and-drop HTML5 HMI designer was integrated into the platform, allowing engineers to generate complete operator interfaces alongside their ladder logic programs.

Public Beta Launch

AILogicHMI opened to the public — free for all users. Crossed 10,000 registered engineers within the first three months, with users spanning 45+ countries.

Built on HTML5 canvas technology, our HMI designer combines AI suggestions with intuitive drag-and-drop functionality. The system automatically links control elements to PLC variables and generates responsive, modern operator interfaces.

AI Debugging Assistant
